BNP starts interview of nomination seekers

Bangladesh Nationalist Party has started interviewing its nomination seekers to finalise the candidates who will contest the 11th general election with its tickets.

The party nomination board, comprising BNP standing committee members, started the interview with those who bought party nomination forms for Rangpur division's Panchagar-1 constituency, at BNP chairperson's Gulshan office at 9:40am on Sunday.

The interview of the nomination seekers of Rajshahi will also be taken today.

Later, the nomination board will interview the nomination hopefuls of Rajshahi from 3:00pm.

The interview of Khunla division's aspirants will start at 9:00am while that of Barishal at 3:00pm on Monday. 

The nomination board will start the interview of Chattogram division's aspirants at 9:00am on Tuesday while that of Cumilla and Sylhet from 3:00pm the same day.

The interview of Mymensingh division's aspirants will start at 9:00am while that of Faridpur at 3:00pm on Wednesday. 

BNP sold 4,580 nomination papers among the aspirants who want to contest the 11th parliamentary elections with its tickets.

The 11th parliamentary elections will be held on December 30.

The last date for submission of nomination papers is November 28 instead of November 19.
