Gautam Chakroborty(1954 - 27 May 2022) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician, former state minister and former Member of Parliament represented Tangail-6(Nagarpur-Delduar) constituency. He also served as the state minister of water resources during 2001 to 2006 under Khaleda Zia Cabinet.

Gautam was born in Delduar upazila of Tangail. He studied up to LLB in his academic career.

Gautam was elected to parliament from Tangail-6 (Nagarpur-Delduar) in 1996 and 2001 as a candidate of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) beating Bangladesh Awami League candidate Khondokar Abdul Baten twice. He received the nomination from the party in the 2018 Bangladesh General Election but lost the contest to Ahasanul Islam Titu of Bangladesh Awami League.

Gautam was the convener of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Kalyan Front.

Chakroborty died from cardiac arrest on 27 May 2022.
