Ramendu Majumder (born 09 August 1941) is a Bangladeshi actor, stage director and theater producer. In 2011, he was elected president of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) for the second time. He was the second Asian to be elected to this position since ITI's establishment in 1948 as an initiative of UNESCO. He was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in 2009.

Majumdar was born in Lakshmipur district to Kuntal Krishna Majumdar and Leela Majumdar. He studied higher secondary at Comilla Victoria Government College. He passed BA (Hons.) and MA in English Literature from Dhaka University. After completing his studies, he chose teaching as a profession. After three years of teaching at Chaumuhani College, he changed his profession and joined the advertising industry in 1967 in Karachi.

During the War of Independence, Majumdar participated in several programs of the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra and edited and published an English compilation of Bangabandhu's speeches and statements from Delhi. Returning to the country in 1972, he joined Bitopi Leo Burnett, an Advertising firm as a director. He worked Bitopi for 21 years. He then founded an advertising firm named Expressions Ltd., in 1993. He is Chairman and Managing Director of this firm.

Majumder started acting and directing regularly on stage from 1958. He joined radio in 1961 and television in 1965 as a dramatist. Acting on stage for more than 50 years. He has been in news presentation for a long time.

Majumder co-founded the Bangladesh Centre of the ITI. In 2008, ITI elected him as the president. He was elected again for the same position in 2011. He is the Chairman of the Dhaka Arts Centre. Majumder owns a theater group named Theater.
