Nazma Akhter (born 01 September 1967) is a Bangladeshi politician and former Member of Parliament for the reserved women's seat 13 in the Ninth National Assembly (2009-2014). She served as the founder President of Bangladesh Awami Jubo Mahila League for almost 20 years.

Nazma was born in Patgati village of Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj district. Her father's name is Mosharraf Hossain. She obtained BA (Hons) and MSS degrees in Social Sciences from Dhaka University. Later she passed LLB from the same university.

Nazma entered politics through Chhatra League politics in the eighties and was Student Welfare Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League Tungipara Thana Branch in 1981-82. She served as the General Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League Pabna Government Women's College Branch in 1983-84. She was the General Secretary of Rokeya Hall Chhatra League of Dhaka University for two terms (1985-90). She also served the General Secretary of Rokeya Hall Student Council in 1989-90. She was the member of Chhatra League Central Executive Committee from 1989 to 1991.

Nazma was the founder president of Jubo Mahila League. Jubo Mahila League was formed on July 6, 2002 when she was appointed as convener. She was elected the president of the first conference of the organization on March 5, 2004 and held this position till December 15, 2022.
