Police on Tuesday announced Tk 20 lakh bounty for each of the masterminds of the attacks to Holey Artisan Bakery, Solakia Eid congregation and Kalyanpur incident in Dhaka, Tamim Chowdhury and sacked major of Bangladesh Army Md Ziaul Huq.
The inspector general of police, AKM Shahidul Huq, at a news briefing at police headquarters in the capital, said that Tamim Chowdhury, a Bangladeshi born Canadian citizen, sacked major Zia had masterminded the attacks.
The duo is the members of homegrown Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh though they claim themselves as associates of middle-east based militant group Islamic states, he said.
