PM’s son takes $2 lakh a month as adviser: Khaleda

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson, Khaleda Zia, on Saturday question what kind of advise the prime minister’s son provides at a cost of $ 2 lakh a month. ‘What kind of advise he gives at such cost? Where the money goes? Is that remain at home of siphoned abroad? Do they pay tax of the amount?’ Khaleda questioned at a rally at Rupganj of Narayanganj in the evening. She asked the youths why they do not wage protest against such plundering of public money when they starve from unemployment. Khaleda also said oil spillage at Sundarban was a planned incident to ruin the largest mangrove forest and ruin the ecology.

‘They want to eat up entire Bangladesh,’ she said branding Awami League a burden for the nation. ‘This tyrant has to be removed and only it can ensure peace in the country,’ she said urging the people to join any programme she announce to topple the government. The BNP chief said efficient public servants were being terminated. ‘An officer has been sent to forced retirement on false allegation,’ she said. ‘Nobody wants to kill Hasina. There is no need to kill Hasina. She would be ruined at the curse of people. An innocent woman was arrested for plotting to kill Hasina. It is totally fabricated,’ she said.
