The war crimes accused, Mobarak Hossain, an expelled Awami League leader of Brahmanbaria, has been taken to the tribunal in the capital at around 9:25am today where a long-awaited verdict in his war crimes case would be delivered.

Tank lorry catches fire in city

A tank lorry, sitting at a petrol pump, caught fire at Tibet intersection in Tejagon in the city Sunday evening. The lorry, filled with octane and diesel, was being moved when it caught fire at about 6:45pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defense director general Brigadier General Ali Ahmed Khan.
